Teide National Park is one of the best places in Europe for stargazing thanks to its altitude, low light pollution and exceptionally clear skies. This astronomy excursion combines science, nature and the beauty of the night sky in a unique experience.
The activity begins with a guided afternoon visit to the Teide Observatory, one of the most important solar observatories in the world. Accompanied by a Starlight guide, you will learn how scientists study the Sun and discover the instruments used to observe the universe.
As night falls, the volcanic landscapes of Teide National Park transform into the perfect setting for stargazing. From the base station of the Teide cable car, located at more than 2,300 metres above sea level, you will enjoy a guided observation session using long-range telescopes.
The excursion also includes a short break to enjoy a picnic before beginning the stargazing session under the spectacular skies of Teide.
