Description

Experience the thrill of watching the sunset from Spain’s highest peak with the Teide cable car at sunset, and observe the stars from one of the world’s highest-quality night skies.

During this excursion you will discover the spectacular landscapes of Teide National Park, a unique volcanic environment declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The experience includes a walk along the trail leading to the Pico Viejo viewpoint, where you will explore lava flows and volcanic formations such as La Corbata, with the impressive amphitheatre of Las Cañadas as a dramatic backdrop.

After enjoying the sunset, you will have free time to enjoy a picnic-style dinner before the astronomical observation begins.

The experience ends with a stargazing session using professional telescopes, guided by certified Starlight experts, where you will be able to observe planets, galaxies and star clusters in one of Europe’s most spectacular skies.
