Description
19km and 4h of entertainment separates us from Getxo, the town where the wealthy large families built their ostentatious palaces by the sea. A tour where we will delve into Bilbao’s industrial past and see its effect on the prosperity of the area.
Through this E-bike tour, we will reveal the history of Bilbao, its seafaring past, its mines and the men who knew how to tame nature to make it a place worthy of admiration.
The Hanging Bridge, or Bizkaia Bridge, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2006, will allow us to link the town of Portugalete with the Municipality of Getxo, to later cross “The Golden Mile” of Bizkaia among the ostentatious stately palaces built for the great wealthy families at the beginning of the 20th century and to end our trip in the picturesque Old Port of Algorta.
