Spanish
Free cancellation if canceled at least 48 hours before the start of the experience.
Description
The Old Town of Bilbao is home to one of the most representative culinary scenes in northern Spain. This guided route explores its traditional bars to understand pintxo culture from within.
Throughout the itinerary, accompanied by a local guide, you will visit different establishments where each stop presents a unique speciality. The experience includes tasting eight pintxos, combining traditional recipes with more contemporary interpretations, always rooted in local ingredients and Basque culinary identity.
The tastings are paired with a selection of drinks, including wines with Denomination of Origin, local cider and the option to try a traditional liqueur. Each pairing helps highlight flavours and better understand the connection between gastronomy and the region.
The route takes place through historic streets where social life revolves around bar counters and the interaction between locals and visitors. During the tour, your guide shares cultural insights and recommendations for further exploring the city.
Beyond the tastings, the experience offers an introduction to a way of understanding gastronomy that values quality products, a relaxed pace and the social character of each stop.
Between lively conversations, busy bars and a sequence of flavours, the tour becomes a way to discover Bilbao from a more local perspective.
