This cruise follows the central stretch of the Danube through downtown Budapest, offering views of the Hungarian capital’s most significant riverside landmarks from the water.
Guests will board one of two historical sister ships, the Kisfaludy Paddle Steamer or the Hableány Paddle Steamer. Both vessels are faithful recreations of 19th-century paddle steamers, sharing similar design, craftsmanship, and historical significance. Built in the spirit of Hungary’s Reform Era, their period-accurate construction and fine detailing evoke the atmosphere of a bygone age, creating the sense of a genuine time-travel experience on the Danube.
The ships feature both indoor and outdoor spaces. A heated interior deck is available during the colder months, while an open deck can be accessed year-round, allowing unobstructed views of the city in every season.
The ticket price includes one glass of premium Tokaj Frizzante or orange juice. On board, a ship bar is available, offering a selection of quality drinks throughout the cruise.
An online audio guide is available on all cruises and is designed for use on passengers’ own phones with their own earphones. The guide is accessible onboard via a QR code, with no download required, and provides both written and audio content in more than 30 languages. Assistance is available from the crew if needed.
During the cruise, all passengers are required to comply with safety regulations and follow crew instructions. Any disturbance to fellow passengers is not permitted.
Seating is unassigned and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
