What does the experience include?
Dive between sculptures submerged between 12 and 15 metres beneath sea level in Europe’s first underwater museum. Located in the Playa de las Coloradas in southern Lanzarote, the Atlantic Museum is an intriguing project undertaken by British artist James deCaires Taylor—renowned for producing works such as this one—which encourages visitors to reflect on the ways in which we are using the planet’s natural resources.
What you need to know
The activity entails two immersions in the Playa de las Coloradas, with the second comprising a visit to the Atlantic Museum: a unique underwater museum spanning 2,500 square metres of the Lanzarote seabed, which is home to over 300 sculptures.
To take advantage of this amazing opportunity, visitors must hold the Open Water Diver certification and book their place at least 48 hours in advance.
