    “Not the best time or place in Veradero”

    Definently not a super friendly resort. The wait staff and bar staff were rude on may occasions. The food was left open and the flys and bugs were an issue in the buffet. The pool side and nightly show entertainment was also lacking badly. Even at one point the staff told us it wasn't a great place to stay. Beautiful grounds and pools with great beach access.. 1st time staying here,but won't be back

    리셉션의 일처리가 너무 느리고, 불친절하다. 이런데 정말 처음봤다. 예약시 트윈룸을 요청했는데, 더블룸을 배정해서 바꿔달라 했더니, 마리솔로라는 직원이 불가능하다고 했다. 우리보고 한명은 소파에서 자라고 하는데, 너무 불쾌했다. 왜 안되는지, 언제 해결해 줄수 있는지는 전혀 설명없이 눈을 착 내리깔고 손가락질로 노라고만 했다. 큰 호텔 직원이 저럴수 있나 싶어서 내 눈을 의심했고, 혹시 인종차별을 당하고 있는건가하는 의심까지 들었다. 시설과 음식은 예외로 하고, 체크인부터 즐겁고 싶으면 이 호텔을 피해야한다. When we made reservation in 'booking.com', We asked for two bed. However, when we entered the room, there was one bed at the room. We asked for separate the bed to two pieces or change the room. But staff told me it is impossible. And the staff (She said her name is 'Marisolo'.) told me sleep on the sofa. She couldn't gave enough explain to me. Also, she looked ignoring to me. I couldn't believe at her attitude. Her attitude made me angry. I didn't come here TO SLEEP ON THE SOFA. Because of this, I don't want to recommend this hotel to everyone.

    “I will NEVER visit Cuba again”

    I went to Barcelo Solymar with no expectations, but what I did receive was the furthest from my mind. RACISM. I have never experienced racism until I visited this resort. This was my first and last trip to Cuba. I arrived at around 9pm, so my first buffet meal was breakfast the next morning. My spouse and I sat in a fairly empty section, where there were two male servers. Neither of them offered us anything. So I got up to find my own tea. While I was getting the water, another server approached me and told me she would send my tea over to my table. She told the server of my section to get me a tea. He came over and put a teabag on the table and walked away. Never said a thing to us. The second server of my section finally came by and asked if I wanted hot water for my tea bag. He brought water with things floating in it. So i just poured out the water in the sink and got myself fresh hot water. At this point my spouse still has no drink. A white couple came in and sat directly behind us and they were served ice water immediately. I called over the server and asked him why he served them water and never offered us anything. He said he didn't speak English. So he called over the second server who translated the question. He then stormed off mumbling something about "Negros", not knowing my spouse understood basic Spanish. Neither of them apologized, neither of them tried to correct the situation. This was absolutely unacceptable and nobody deserves this treatment. After feeling unwelcome for the first two days, we just ate at Arenas Blancas for the rest of the week. Judith in housekeeping was the only good thing about that hotel, she was amazing.

    “this place is awesome”

    clean, great staff, very friendly, great party resort. food is decent. if your looking for great food don't go to Cuba. the entertainment team is very good. my friends and I had so much fun that were going back in February.

    “Buyer be aware.”

    This property shouhd not be reccommended to anyone. No hot water for half of the stay, no towelservice, just a nasty place to vacation. Heard horror stories from other guests, aunts, no A.C.etc. The beaches were the best part of the trip, having not been in a all inclusive in Cuba before however vactioned in a all inclusive elswhere, the food was not what I have experieced before.

    “I will NEVER visit Cuba again”

    “this place is awesome”


    clean, great staff, very friendly, great party resort. food is decent. if your looking for great food don't go to Cuba. the entertainment team is very good. my friends and I had so much fun that were going back in February.
