Description
The eastern coastline of Gipuzkoa reveals a sequence of landscapes and towns where maritime life and history remain deeply rooted. This excursion from San Sebastián explores some of the most representative locations in this border region.
The first stop is Hondarribia, whose walled old town preserves its original layout, with cobbled streets and historic buildings. The visit also includes the La Marina district, known for its colourful façades and its close connection to the Bidasoa River and local fishing traditions.
The route continues towards Mount Jaizkibel, offering wide views of the coastline and surrounding natural landscape. This vantage point provides a clearer understanding of the area’s geography before descending towards Pasaia Bay.
