Description
The region of La Rioja stands as one of Spain’s leading wine-producing areas, with a tradition shaped over centuries. This excursion from San Sebastián offers insight into its landscapes, wine culture and the processes that define its identity.
The route heads towards Rioja Alavesa, where you will visit two wineries with different approaches. During these visits, you will discover how traditional methods coexist with modern techniques, from vineyard cultivation to ageing in barrels. Explanations focus on the land, climate and key factors that influence the character of each wine.
Throughout the experience, guided tastings allow you to identify the nuances of different styles, helping you better understand the diversity within the denomination. Direct contact with the environment and production spaces provides context to each glass.
