The gastronomy of San Sebastián is internationally recognised for its technique and respect for ingredients. This cooking class offers the opportunity to approach this tradition from within, preparing emblematic recipes in a practical, guided setting.
The activity takes place in a kitchen located in the Old Town, where a specialised chef guides each step of the process. During the session, you will learn to prepare representative dishes such as Spanish omelette, cod in pil-pil sauce, piquillo peppers and Basque cheesecake.
Throughout the workshop, key techniques, cooking times and ingredient handling are explained, helping you understand how the flavours of local cuisine are built. The small group format encourages active participation and personalised guidance.
Once the cooking is complete, the dishes are enjoyed in the same space, accompanied by selected drinks including red wine, Txakoli and cider, bringing the culinary experience together in one moment.
The city’s strong gastronomic context, with its high concentration of renowned restaurants, adds an extra dimension to the activity, linking practice with its surroundings.
