Description
This tour from San Sebastián offers the opportunity to explore key locations along the Atlantic coast in a single day, crossing into the French Basque Country before returning to the city to complete the experience.
The first part of the itinerary takes place in Biarritz, where sites such as the Grand Plage, the Rocher de la Vierge and the surroundings of the Hôtel du Palais reflect its past as a resort destination for European aristocracy. The route then continues to Bayonne, located at the meeting point of the Nive and Adour rivers, where its historic centre offers insight into local life and commercial tradition.
In Bayonne, you will visit landmarks such as the Sainte-Marie Cathedral and walk through the historic district, with time to observe the atmosphere of its streets and markets.
In the afternoon, the tour returns to San Sebastián for a guided walking visit through its main areas. The route includes the La Concha Bay, the City Hall, the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd and the Old Town, where historic squares and churches are located.
