Aboard a comfortable bus, we’ll start a special and unforgettable day early in the morning.
On the way to Girona, the guide will provide some context by sharing some details about Catalan history. Upon arriving in the city, we’ll take a guided walking tour that will take us to the colorful houses along the Onyar River, the Basilica of Saint Feliu, and the Girona Cathedral, as beautiful as it is impressive.
In the Jewish Quarter, you’ll discover the essence that this community left behind and continue the walk across the Eiffel Bridge and Place de la Concorde, as well as along the Saint Domenech descent. After some free time in the city, we’ll head to a must-see destination on the Costa Brava: Figueres.
We’ll continue our route to Figueres, where you’ll learn about the life and work of Salvador Dalí, one of the greatest exponents of surrealism. During the trip, we’ll give you some details about his artistic career and the surrealist movements that shaped his career.
Once there, you’ll enter the Dalí Museum, a fascinating place that houses some of his most famous works. After the visit, you’ll recharge with lunch. You can try some local delicacies, such as a traditional escalivada (a typical Spanish stew) or a delicious fideuá (a traditional fideuá).
The next stop is Cadaqués. This fishing village, located at the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, is the last stop. Many agree that it’s one of the most beautiful places on the Costa Brava, having perfectly preserved its charm.
Both on the bus and in front of the impressive Church of Santa María, your expert guide will give you more details about Cadaqués. You’ll be able to stroll through the Mediterranean-inspired streets, and once you’re back on the beach, you’ll have free time to enjoy the day at your leisure.
