Description
Admire the striking landscape of Montserrat from above during an early morning hot air balloon flight, one of the most memorable ways to experience this iconic Catalan mountain range. Its dramatic needle-shaped rock formations create extraordinary views from the air.
The experience begins in Barcelona with transport to the launch area. Before take-off, you will have the opportunity to watch and participate in the balloon inflation process alongside the flight crew. Once airborne, enjoy approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of peaceful flight while taking in panoramic views of Montserrat and the surrounding countryside.
After landing, a 4x4 support vehicle will return the group to the activity area, where you will celebrate the flight with cava and a light snack. The experience also includes water, soft drinks, a first flight certificate signed by the pilot and a professional photo report.
Guests choosing the extended option will continue with a guided visit to the Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat, founded nearly one thousand years ago and home to the famous figure of La Moreneta, the patron saint of Catalonia. Access to the monastery is made by cable car, and this guided visit is only available on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Floating silently above the mountain while the first sunlight reaches the peaks of Montserrat creates a calm and unforgettable atmosphere high above the Catalan landscape.
