Close to Madrid, the Vinos de Madrid DO brings together producers working with different methods and scales. This visit focuses on a single winery to present the process as a complete sequence.
The meeting point is set at Plaza del Marqués de Salamanca, followed by a transfer to the selected estate. Once there, the visit moves through either vineyard areas or production spaces, depending on the winery’s structure.
Explanations focus on practical decisions made during cultivation, fermentation and ageing, using examples directly from the winery itself. This approach helps clarify how the region operates without relying on broader comparisons.
The tasting follows the visit, including at least three wines presented either by the winery team or by the accompanying specialist.
The group size allows for a more flexible pace, making it easier to engage with the process and ask questions as they arise.
After the visit, the return to Madrid completes a route built around one location, offering enough depth to understand how it works as a whole.
