This full-day experience from Madrid takes you to two UNESCO World Heritage cities, Segovia and Ávila, and ends with an evening flamenco performance in the capital. A route that connects different moments of Spain’s history through architecture and cultural expression.
The first stop is Segovia, where the visit begins beside the iconic Roman Aqueduct, one of the most remarkable engineering works of the ancient world. From there, the walk continues through the historic centre towards the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral, built in Gothic style. You will also see the exterior of the Alcázar of Segovia, a fortress closely linked to the Castilian monarchy.
After the guided tour, you will have time for lunch before heading to Ávila. Here, a walking tour reveals its medieval layout and key landmarks such as the Ávila Cathedral, the Basilica of San Vicente and sites associated with Saint Teresa. The Walls of Ávila, encircling the historic centre, stand out as one of the best-preserved fortifications in Europe.
Back in Madrid, the experience continues in the evening with a flamenco show in a traditional tablao. You will witness this art form, recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage, in an intimate setting accompanied by a drink.
From centuries-old stone to the rhythm of flamenco on stage, the day closes with a lasting impression shaped by history and culture.
