Hot Air Balloon Ride over Segovia with Transfer from Madrid
+3
Free cancellation if canceled at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.
Description
Watching Segovia from above at sunrise offers a completely different perspective of the city and its historic monuments. This premium hot air balloon experience is designed for travellers seeking a memorable moment surrounded by open landscapes, silence and panoramic views across Castile.
The experience begins with pick-up in Madrid from a previously arranged location, followed by transfer to the balloon launch site in Segovia. While the flight crew prepares the balloon, the first light of dawn gradually illuminates the skyline, creating a calm and atmospheric start to the morning.
Once airborne, you will admire some of Segovia’s most iconic landmarks from a privileged viewpoint, including the Roman Aqueduct, the majestic Alcázar and the impressive Cathedral. The gentle movement of the balloon and the near silence of the flight create a peaceful sensation as the landscapes unfold beneath you.
The approximately one-hour flight is especially appealing for photography enthusiasts and travellers who appreciate natural scenery. The golden morning light across the city walls, rooftops and surrounding countryside creates extraordinary views, captured as part of the included photo and GoPro video report.
After landing, the experience continues with a toast using Brut cava and a countryside picnic featuring Iberian products, cheese and Spanish omelette. You will also receive a commemorative flight certificate before the optional return transfer to Madrid.
The stillness of the morning sky, the sensation of floating above medieval landscapes and the endless views across Castile create an atmosphere filled with calm and wonder. As the balloon drifts slowly over Segovia, time seems to move at a completely different pace.
