Explore the surroundings of Madrid on a guided bike route linking Chinchón and Aranjuez. This experience takes you through historical towns and open landscapes beyond the city.
The day begins in Madrid with a metro transfer to the starting point. From there, your guide leads the group through Chinchón, known for its medieval layout and traditional character. Several stops are included to highlight key landmarks, such as a 16th-century castle offering wide views over the region.
The route continues along sections near the Tagus River, gradually reaching Aranjuez. Here, you will explore the surroundings of the Royal Palace of Aranjuez and its historic gardens, recognised for their cultural and architectural importance.
The full distance is around 60 kilometres, combining paved roads and gravel paths. Participants should be confident cyclists, able to manage different terrains and maintain control over longer distances.
After the visit, the return to Madrid is by train, completing a full-day activity that brings together cycling, heritage and natural scenery.
