Description

We will leave from Madrid city center at 8:30 a.m., escorted by our guide, setting course to La Mancha región, land of Don Quixote. We will make our first stop in El Toboso, a little village where Aldonza Lorenzo lived. She was Don Quixote’s eternal love and is also mentioned in the novel as Dulcinea del Toboso. We will next head to the iconic Windmills in Mota del Cuervo. It is one more crucial scenario in Cervantes’ novel, where we will get to explore the inside of several lof the 7 windmills located there. The place of our lunch will be the walled village of Belmonte. We will have 1:45hrs to have our meal. After a stroll around its streets we will  visit the magnificent Don Juan Pacheco Castle.

At around 17:30hrs we will depart towards Madrid, so we can arrive at 19:00hrs to the place where we started our trip.

    Visita a los Molinos Temáticos de Mota del Cuervo. Siguiendo los pasos del Hidalgo Don Quijote llegaremos a Mota del Cuervo, pueblo quijotesco donde destacan sus impresionantes molinos de viento. En el Balcón de la Mancha se alzan estos 7 Gigantes: 'El Zurdo', 'El Cervantes', 'El Piqueras', 'El Gigante', 'El Goethe', 'El Iraq' y 'El Franz Grillparzer'. Realizaremos un recorrido por el interior del dedicado a la Molinería, el Etnográfico y el de la Artesanía.

  • Castillo de Belmonte

    Visita guiada al Castillo de Belmonte. Esta Fortaleza es uno de los mejores ejemplos de residencia palaciega del siglo XV. Fue mandado construir por el Marqués de Pacheco y reformado en el siglo XIX por la emperatriz francesa Eugenia de Montijo y en la actualidad alberga un impresionante centro de interpretación de la historia del edificio.
