Description
Discover Madeira’s southwest on a guided 4x4 safari that combines dramatic coastlines, volcanic beaches and ancient laurel forest. The tour includes hotel pickup and an off-road drive across Paul da Serra plateau, visits to Seixal black sand beach, Ribeira da Janela cliffs, the mystical Fanal forest and the lighthouse at Ponta do Pargo. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and stops in coastal villages such as Paul do Mar, Calheta and Ponta do Sol for panoramic views and local atmosphere.

Suitable clothing and comfortable footwear are recommended. Bring a light jacket, as weather conditions in the mountains can change quickly.
During summer, we recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
Swimming in the natural pools of Porto Moniz is optional and weather dependent. Guests who wish to swim should bring swimwear and a towel.
The safari vehicles are open-top, allowing for a more adventurous experience. Please keep arms and personal belongings inside the vehicle while driving normal roads.
This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, guests with severe back or mobility problems, or anyone with medical conditions that may be affected by off-road driving.
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult and must use seat belts at all times. Child seats are available upon request.
