About
Following a pick-up at your hotel in Funchal, you’ll begin this 90-minute tour to explore the city’s most historic areas.
Your tuk tuk driver/guide will take you first to see the Old Town of Funchal, which dates back to the 16th century, when the island was colonized by the Portuguese.
Stop at Barreirinha viewpoint and enjoy the panorama before continuing on to even more spectacular views at the next viewpoint, known as Vila Guida. Take in the sweeping view over the Bay of Funchal.
There are still more viewpoints in store. Your next stop will be at São Baptista fortress, which offers an amazing city view over the Bay of Funchal.
