Description
We will begin the experience at the marina of Funchal, where boarding will take place followed by a short safety briefing before setting sail. From the very start, you will enjoy wide views of Madeira’s coastline as we leave the capital behind and head west along the shore.
As we continue across the Atlantic, you will discover some of the island’s most characteristic landscapes. One of the most impressive moments comes as we approach Cabo Girão, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, whose dramatic scale is best appreciated from the water.
During the trip we will make a stop so you can swim in the clear waters of the Atlantic or enjoy some snorkelling. You will have time to relax in the sea while taking in the spectacular views of the coastline from a unique perspective. Snorkelling equipment will be available on board.
We will also pause in front of the bay of Câmara de Lobos, a colourful fishing village known for its picturesque harbour and as the birthplace of the traditional poncha drink. This is the perfect moment to take photos of one of Madeira’s most iconic spots.
After approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes at sea, we will return to Funchal Marina where the experience comes to an end.
If you prefer a more exclusive experience, the boat can also be booked privately for groups of up to 18 people, making it an ideal option to enjoy the trip with family or friends in total privacy.
What should you know before you go?
- The excursion does not have a fixed minimum age, although it is not recommended for small children, as the boat is relatively small and each passenger must remain seated in their own seat during the navigation
- The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes
- Departure and return take place at Funchal Marina
- Depending on your accommodation, the marina can easily be reached on foot, by public transport or by car
- Several parking options are available near the marina

- A windbreaker or light jacket, as it can be windy at sea and occasional splashes may occur
