    “Boring off season stay”

no entertainment at all, half of facilities didn't work, all inclusive package appears to be only food and local drinks included, even at beach bar needed to pay for drinks after 8pm. Only one free beach towel per week given! People smoking everywhere

    “Review of the hotel”

I missed some entertainment for the all inclusive guest. Especially in the evening there wasn't much to do. The hotel looks really well but when you take a closer look, there were a lot of worn down chairs, the shower was leaking and the shower head was almost completly blocked with calcification that there was almost no water able to come through. The shampoo and conditioner weren't refilled properly. So we had to ask it ourselves after a couple of days. The excursion agency's were poorly. They didn't offer much. The hotel has a great location and view and the staff is really friendly. The spa was great and reasonable prices. It was an average stay

    “Disappointing !”

Very disappointed. you advertise this as all inclusive when it is not, you get the very basic as an all inclusive guest, if you want anything else you have to pay Mostly all the entertainment and facilities had closed, this was not advertised, I would check what is still open at the time of your trip, they do not tell you that they close some restaurants and bars earlier than the hotel closes and with nothing local to do elsewhere Food was very basic and I did not have chance to try the other restaurants as they were closed Spa had cold water and the pool and jacuzzi were freezing cold, they do not heat any of the pools which makes it an horrible experience when you want to use them Overall a great disappointment

    “Nice trip”

I read all the comments before going here, and I got mixed emotions before going. But when arriving I was pleasantly surprised. Its definetly not 5* but its up there. The hotel is situated in a beautiful garden, that smells of a greek Olive Garden. The views are spectacular. With lovely staff, food and general experience. The lobby, is beautiful, spacious and modern. The bar in the lobby has everything you would need, even better wine than in the restaurant. The rooms/bungalows, are ok. This was the only aspect I thought made this hotel less than 5*. quite nice bungalows, but with a terrible bed. (I'm sorry to say, but these mattresses were rock hard.) In the room, we had a nice bathroom, with all the appliances you would need. A tv, fridge and a safe. I would say there should be a tea/coffee vanity, but none that I could find. Rooms are VERY simple. Pool, quite big pool, with salt water. With beautiful sunbeams around the whole area, with nice mattresses.(I was contemplating on brining them into the room to put on the bed for more comfort.) The poolbar, is right there, with an all-inclusive menu, coffee, tea, juices, alcohol, ice-cream and snacks all day long. The beach, is divided into 3, with nice sun-beds and umbrellas that look picturesque. Theres a bar on the beach too, for those that would pay extra for the premium all- inclusive package. People complaining about the distance to everything, and how far it is to every bar/restaurant, is an exaggeration. But if you don't, its really not far to walk up to the pool. of course if you have trouble walking up stairs or a slight slope, this would be a bit more difficult, but its not far at all. The buffet restaurant, big spacious with the most beautiful terrace and view!! The food is everything you would need. Like bread, salads, pasta, meats, fries, some greek food(would love to see more) , fruit and desserts. Drinks, tea, coffee, soda, wine,(you fill your glasses yourself form dispensers, and water bottles at the table at any time. People have commented on the staff, and how rude or unwelcoming they are. I would say, you get what you deserve. My family smiled and were polite to every server or bartender here, and the welcoming smiles and friendly chats were on a daily basis. The guy in the pool bar didn't speak much English, but he was the loveliest bartender ever. Kostas and the older servers in the restaurants were amazing too. So just be polite and they will show you the same. Theres a spa, which we didn't try, so ill refrain from commenting. As a 5* hotel, they should start thinking about being more eco, the plastic cups and straws at the pool/beach area should be switched to something better. Not five star worthy. Maybe getting antibacterial dispensers around the common areas. You may order a golf car to get to and from your bungalow if you don't want or can't walk up the hill. Theres not much to see around the hotel, but I would definetly recommend on going to Hydra island, most wonderful place close by. Overall a nice greek trip. Lacking at some points, but those are easy to fix.

    “Excellent holiday resort”

Overall this was a fantastic holiday. The location and gardens around the resort make this a special place. The staff were very helpful, plentiful, and attentive. The Spa/gym was very clean, with (again) super staff and management. The buffet choice was varied, the food being tasty, if a little cool for our taste, but by no means cold. The only downside for us was that the mattress was a little hard: the staff quickly provided a mattress topper for the king-size bed, which made some difference. The addition of a trip to the island of Hydra included in the package added to the great feeling of the whole week. Would return tomorrow.
