| The Riviera Maya is one of the best spots in the world for scuba-diving and probably the most outstanding in the Caribbean, offering a combination of transparent waters, extremely well-preserved reefs and a diversity of marina flora and fauna. |
| The clarity of the waters of the Riviera Maya are ideal for scuba-diving, permitting visibility of between 15 and 60 meters depending on the time of year; an average of 25 meters. |
| The seabed is formed of coral reef over sandy substrate, characterized by giant sponges and soft coral over a hard coral substrate. |
| Water temperature ranges from 25°C (77ºF) in winter to 30°C (86ºF) in summer. |
| Programmed dives include "The Little Caves", a five-minute journey by boat followed by cave exploration at a maximum depth of 15 meters and "Mero" ,"La Cavepeta" ,"Oasis" and "Los Dedos": following a five-minute boat journey, explore the coral reefs and marvel at the marine life at a maximum depth of between 18 m and 25 m. |
