Andalusia, a charming community that offers an endless array of cultural activities.
Ask the PR team in our hotel for information about excursions, and they will be pleased to provide you with information about the different options. Visit the nearby villages of Chiclana, Medina, Vejer and Conil, where you will be able to appreciate the way of life in municipalities typical of the province of Cadiz.
We will recommend places to visit in Cadiz, on a walk that will take you through its main streets and passed its churches and museums. Or through Seville, where we will take you to the cathedral and the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, among some of the area’s other mythical places.
We also recommend the visit to Jerez, its famous wine cellars, its palace and its old town, where we will visit the Arab baths.
The next stop on our trip includes the route of the Lighthouses, Bealo Claudia, Trafalgar and Tarifa. At this stop on our trip, we will visit the coastal cattle farming, the Roman ruins, and other places, including Sierra de Grazalema and Ronda.
The point of departure of our next excursion is Sanlúcar de Barrameda. A guided visit to the Doñana national park, which will start with a boat trip along the River Guadalquivir.
Our next place of interest is centred on the Strait of Gibraltar, with a visit to the British colony of Gibraltar. We also offer you the chance to visit Tangiers. Leaving from Tarifa, we will take a ferry which, in 35 minutes, will take us to the Moroccan city for a guided visit.

EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES
Among the most spectacular of the many activities we offer is the Andalusian Equestrian Art School.
We offer you a unique show, during which prestigious Andalusian horses will delight you with their dancing.
To the rhythm of traditional Spanish music, and wearing 18th Century costumes, horse riders and horses will perform a fantastic equestrian ballet.
We offer you everything from a complete equestrian ballet performance, to special nighttime galas according to the season, and even visits to stables, shops, museums, etc.
Another option we suggest is the visit to the Yeguada de la Cartuja – Hierro del Bocado, which boasts the most important reserve of Spanish pure-bred Andalusian horses.
But our offer of equestrian activities does not end here. If you would like to be in closer contact with the horses, we offer everything from beginner to advanced classes: jumping, dressage and the Spanish vaquera style.
We especially recommend that you request the possibility of a walk through the forest, or if you prefer, along the marvellous Barrosa beach.

NAUTICAL ACTIVITIES
Situated on the Barrosa beach, the Barceló Sancti Petri hotel offers a wide range of nautical sports and activities.
In the Sancti Petri port we offer trips on sailboats, motorboats or even boat excursions to the nature reserve.
For those who prefer other types of nautical sports, there are the options of windsurfing, kitesurfing, catamaraning, dinghy sailing, kayaking, skiing and wakeboarding, in the excellent conditions of the area’s climatology.
Among the different activities we also offer plunging and diving courses, and for those who are interested in recreational activities we offer the possibility of enjoying a giant banana ride, pedaloes, beach games and activities for disabled people.

Book paddle or tennis courts in the area’s clubs at our reception desk. Or book beginner or advanced classes, whether as a group or individually. Ask our PR team, and they will contact the clubs to make booking the courts easier for you.
