Located 45 kilometres from Antalya on the Mediterranean seafront, Belek is a true paradise in which to spend your holidays. The extensive offer of golf courses, beaches and historical places, together with the privileged climate, make it an ideal destination for travellers of all ages. That, together with the kindness and hospitality of its people, make Belek a warm and classy place to spend your holidays.
Places to See

One of the main advantages of Belek is that it is located near many archaeological sites that are worth visiting. If you are interested in history and archaeology, the Aspendos theatre may be the region's main attraction. Built by the architect Zenon in the 2nd Century, it has been perfectly preserved. With a capacity for 20,000 people, it is a brilliant example of the architecture of the time.
Its galleries, stage, decoration and acoustics turn it into an architectural jewel that shouldn’t be missed. Thanks to its excellent state of preservation it can house concerts and recitals during the summer months.
In Antalya you can visit the city walls and the Hadrian door, which date back to the Roman era, as well as the Archaeological Museum. We must also mention the many mosques and minarets from the Byzantine era as well as others built by the Seljuks.
From Belek you can visit the city of Perge, located at 18 kilometres from Antalya. This is where San Pablo celebrated some of his first sermons, and where you will be able to enjoy the architecture and public baths.
All the streams of the region aim at finding their way into the Mediterranean and they pour down the slopes of the Taurus, sometimes overland sometimes underground and, reaching their destination, result in lovely waterfalls, of which there are more than twenty. The loveliest of these are the Düden Falls, 15 km. north of Antalya, the Kursunlu Falls 18 km. along the Antalya-Alanya highway and those of Manavgat 3 km. north of the town.
All the region's waterfalls find their way to the Mediterranean and on the slopes of the Taurus mountains, sometimes on land, sometimes below it, reaching their destinations, creating over twenty waterfalls. The most beautiful falls are at Düden, 15 km, to the north of Antalya, Kursunlu, 18 km, along the Antalya-Alanya road and at Manavgat, 3 km, to the north of the city.
